(WXYZ) - Ace Bayou is recalling two types of their bean bag chairs because they can pose a suffocation and choking hazard. Two deaths have been reported because of the defect. The recall applies to chairs sold before July 2013. The company says they do not have a permanent closure ring. The company says the chairs zippers can be opened and children can crawl inside, get trapped and suffocate or choke on the bean bag's foam beads. Customers who have the defective bean bags are eligible to receive a safety enhancement kit, which includes the permanent closure ring and installation instructions.
